European Championship of Online Poker III Set for November

By David Richardson

09/15/2008

Titan Poker’s 3rd annual 2008 European Championship of Online Poker is set to begin November 24th with more action than ever before.  Like PokerStars Online Championship tournament which is currently underway, the ECOOP has steadily seen success that has grown with each tournament.  This time around Titan Poker is hoping to draw in even more players with the largest prize pool yet.

Running two weeks from November 24th to December 7th Titan Poker will offer online poker players the shot at winning a title each day with the Main Event capping things off on the last day.  This is an increase from the ten days that were dedicated to the first two installments of the ECOOP which translates into more winnings and a bigger prize pool.

The ECOOP III is almost doubling the $2.5 million they awarded in their inaugural tournament guaranteeing a prize pool of $4.15 million this year.  The individual tournaments will feature Texas Hold’em, Omaha and 7 Card Stud with buy-ins ranging from $100+$9 to $2,500+$100.  For the price of admission players can compete for anywhere from $50,000 to $1.5 million in the Main Event.

In addition to large cash payouts players will also get their own ECOOP bracelet for taking home the title of one of the 14 tournaments.  Players can choose to buy in directly when registration starts in November or you can try to get a seat for less through one of the numerous satellite tournaments that Titan Poker is hosting.
