Attention poker players: On October 1st, the popular Las Vegas hotel and casino Bellagio will host its sixth-annual Festa al Lago Classic with the intention of drawing the largest crowd in the event’s history. As always, the “festival” will feature a competitive, $500 + $40 buy-in No-Limit Texas Hold’em tournament sponsored by SpadeClub.com and a series of other gambling-related events.
Although the Bellagio Hotel and Casino stands amongst the grandest resorts in Las Vegas, it is SpadeClub that is attracting a great deal of attention in the weeks leading up to the event. In fact, similar to sites like PurePlay, SpadeClub has found a viable loophole in the UIGEA legislation passed in October of 2006. Instead of actually gambling, SpadeClub.com members simply pay $19.99 monthly membership to play in tournaments for a chance to win actual cash prize money.
Every month SpadeClub hosts over 2,500 poker tournaments with real cash prizes totaling more than $100,000. To continue to grow its customer base, on September 20th, the website will host an online qualifier to the Festa al Lago Classic at the Bellagio. The winner will receive a free seat at the No-Limit Texas Hold’em live event and an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas including a free, luxurious suite in the Bellagio Hotel.
SpadeClub and its newer, risk-free approach to poker are made possible by Card Player Media, a massive poker media outlet and publisher of Card Player Magazine. All products and services offered are operated within the United States.
